Scented Water empowers young people in Nigeria to become confident innovators and problem-solvers. We challenge the traditional model that trains young people to wait for opportunities. Instead, we equip them with entrepreneurial skills, connect them with professional mentors, and give them real resources to build solutions to community challenges.
Founded in 2021, we've worked with 250+ young people across Lagos and Ogun State.

A Narrative Journey
The Invisible Barrier
It started with a simple observation. In classrooms, boardrooms, and laboratories, brilliant minds were staying silent. Not because they lacked answers, but because they were waiting for permission to speak.The world told us you are too young, too inexperience, be patient. To wait our turn. To fit into the boxes that were already built. But the boxes were too small, and our dreams were too big to be contained by tradition.

Traditional learning emphasizes conformity over creativity. Gender norms discourage risk-taking. Meanwhile, communities face urgent challenges that need local innovators. The result? Capable young boys and girls with untapped potential.
Scented Water exists to change that narrative, to create the bridge that transforms young people to innovative thinkers.
our approach
We don't just teach skills; the goal is to shift mindsets and expose young people to opportunities. Through hands-on training, mentorship from professionals, and mini-grants to build real prototypes, we aim to equip young people with the mindsets to solve actual problems in their communities.
